Learning From My Wagering Mistakes

Wednesday, 29. July 2026

I have been gambling on the internet or at brick and mortar casinos for a great many years. I have been taught, the addiction can acquire a hold of you and you will not even realize it until you are broke. Especially if you are on a winning streak. I have gone through many hundreds of dollars in a very short period of time and still on occasion, I still go too far. It feels like you are only enjoying yourself till you make a decision to contemplate your losses and the guilt settles in, and of course you keep advising yourself "I could gain the funds back" repeatedly. It never ever works. Then you get icky in your stomach and the more you attempt the quicker you give away.

When you see that you are up, Remain in the Black! When you start to throw away, don’t inform yourself, "well just maybe 1 more" over and over again, believe me, this scheme RARELY ever operates. Say you plan on wagering on slot machines, have a pot separate before starting your gaming. DO NOT go over that threshold, no matter how appealing. If you happen to earn, put that in a separate canister. Do not risk your earnings regardless of what happens. Once you have gambled through your original set limit, stop. Depart, whether it is on the net or at a brick and mortar gambling den, do not stick at the tables or machines. At all times keep in mind, there will be another day, another time. Clearly, this process can function for any game that you bet on, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, vingt-et-un or any other casino game.

Remember, wagering should be exciting not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you do not belong there. If you can’t pay for the loss, don’t even begin.
