Don’t Drink … Play!

If you like to have a drink every now and then, keep your cash at home if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Empty your handbag, your billfold, and leave all cash, credit cards and chequebooks out of the casino. Grab whatever cash you anticipate to spend on beverages, tips and only the pocket change you expect to burn and keep the remainder behind.

Cynical? Not by any means. Just realistic. You may well experience a win following a boozy night out with your friends and be lucky sufficiently to hit a long toss at a hot craps game. Don’t forget that story because it’s as brief as it gets if you always consume alcohol and bet. The two just don’t mix.

Keeping your moola out of the casino is a tiny bit drastic, but preventative measures for excessive behavior is compulsory. If you play to profit, then do not drink alcohol and play. If you like to be wasteful with your cash without a concern, then consume all the no charge beer you can handle, but don’t pack credit cards and cheques to throw into the mix of going after losses after your drunken brain throws away all the cash!

Permit me to carry this 1 step more. Don’t drink alcohol and then jump online to play in your preferred internet casino either. I enjoy a beer from the comfort of my condominium, however considering that I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit in close proximity, I can’t drink alcohol and wager.

Why? Although I don’t drink alcohol a lot, when I drink, it is definitely enough to cloud my better judgment. I gamble, so I do not drink when gambling. If you are a drinker, do not bet when you do. Both create a decimating, and crazy, cocktail.
