Learning From My Wagering Blunders

Thursday, 22. December 2022

I have been betting on the net or at brick and mortar gambling dens for many years. I have been taught, the fixation is able to grab a hold of you and you will not even notice it up till you are beaten. Specifically if you are on a profit streak. I have gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in only a little period of time and even today, I still go too far. It feels like you are only enjoying yourself until you make a choice to consider your losses and the anguish settles in, and of course you keep advising yourself "I can gain it back" again and again. It doesn’t work. Then you feel icky in your gut and the harder you attempt the more rapidly you throw away.

When you see that you are ahead, Remain in the Black! When you begin to throw away, don’t tell yourself, "well just one more" over and over again, trust me, this tactic almost never ever operates. Say you are wagering on one armed bandits, have an amount set aside prior to beginning your gambling. DON’T exceed that range, no matter how tempting. If you happen to gain, put the winnings in an alternate canister. Do not bet your earnings at any cost. After you have played through your initial predetermined range, stop. Leave, regardless if it’s on the net or in a brick and mortar gambling den, do not stick around. Always keep in mind, there will be other days, other times. Obviously, this plan usually will work for any game that you play, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, vingt-et-un or any other game.

Keep in mind, betting should be delightful not backbreaking, sickening work! If you are not having fun yourself, you don’t belong at the casinos. If you cannot pay for the losses, do not ever begin.
